“She’ll Be Back”
Linda Hamilton will reprise her role of Sarah Connor in Terminator 6. This is fantastic news for the next installment in the Terminator franchise.
This comes as a shock and also of great joy for the many Terminator fans around the world. Cameron is pulling his Hollywood strings to get Terminator 6 as good as it can possibly be. Hopefully, this will be what Terminator 3 should have been.
It was 1984 when we first set our eyes on a then youthful Sarah Connor with Cameron’s masterpiece, The Terminator. Sarah Connor is being pursued by the non-stopping T-800 to murder her before she can give birth to her son John Connor.
He will inevitably become the leader of the human resistance against Cyberdyne and its deadly machines.
But then 1991 rolls around and we get what is quite possibly the greatest movie sequel of all time, Terminator 2 Judgment Day.
This time Sarah Connor is bad-ass! Connor breaks out of a mental institute so she can protect her son from the deadly T-1000. This is perfectly acted by the amazing Robert Patrick. The T-800 returns also, not to kill but to protect John and save the world from judgment day ever happening.
End Of An Era
Hamilton and Cameron weren’t involved in the next 3 Terminator films but Cameron has already been quoted saying:
“I’m going to pretend that 3,4 and 5 weren’t made and that Terminator 6 will carry on the story after T2”.
“We’re starting a search for an 18-something woman to be the new centerpiece of the new story. We still fold time. We will have characters from the future and the present. There will be mostly new characters, but we’ll have Arnold and Linda’s characters to anchor it”.
So are you guys as excited as we are? Will Edward Furlong or Robert Patrick be making a return? Will T6 be a return to form? All we know is we are super stoked and glad to see the old gang getting back together. Please comment below and let us know what you guys think, we’d love to know your thoughts on this.
