Indie Platformer Iconoclasts Available From Next Week

At GoneFullGeek, we can’t wait for indie pixel-art platformer ‘Iconoclasts’. With most of us having favourite games from our child hood being 2D platformers, we hope Iconclasts can bring back some nostalgia from the golden days of gaming.

Indie Platformer Iconoclasts Available From Next Week

Finally, after almost 7 years in development; Indie Developer Joakim “Konjak” Sandberg has finally revealed the release date of his next game. Iconoclasts will be hitting the PS4, PS Vita, Steam, Mac and Linux on the 23rd January 2018; we can’t wait to give our first-look impressions.

You may also be familiar with Joakim’s work already as he is credited as an animator for several Gameboy Advance games; such as Contra IV, X-Men 3: The Official Game and Justice League Heroes: The Flash.

About Iconoclasts

Your journey starts off by playing as the optimistic young mechanic Robin. But without her license, she has let down her family.

Explore a big world filled with intricate puzzles, interesting characters and menacing bosses in a beautiful platform adventure. Iconoclasts tells a personal story about faith, purpose and the challenge of helping people.

Furthermore, here is what we can look forward too when the game is released:

  • Hours of nut-twisting platform action-adventure
  • Numerous densely detailed locations filled with fine-tuned action and puzzles
  • 20+ gear-grinding, screen-filling boss battles stand in your way
  • Three game-changing difficulty settings supported by a unique tweak system
  • A heart-wrenching epic – can one mechanic fix the whole world?

With over 20 menacing bosses to battle through as well; we can only imagine that the difficulty will give Cuphead and Mega Man a run for its money.
